The Samsung Galaxy M51 is long overdue to get Google’s latest OS, but otherwise it’s pretty much a mid-range handset that’s two years old, so it’s commendable for Samsung for bringing released the second major update.
Anyway, this phone is supposed to get Android 12 in Russia with build number M515FXXU4DVD1 and it may soon hit other markets. That’s how the company usually distributes updates.
It should be noted that this is the end of the road for the Galaxy M51 in terms of major firmware updates. The device won’t get Android 13, though it will continue to receive essential monthly security patches from Google for another year.
