Experts say there has been a significant increase in cyber threats over the past six months and everyone with a digital connection is at risk.
“There is no going back to the pre-digital era,” said Gregory Winger, a cybersecurity expert and assistant professor at UC’s School of Public and International.
In a WLWT news segment featuring Winger, reporters explained that the recent increase could be due to the war in Ukraine, but that it’s not just Russians circling international waters online.
