It looks like we’ll be getting some exciting new phones from OPPO in the second half of this year, including the company’s new foldables. This information comes from Digital Chat Station, a famous Chinese tipping service company. He shared the information via Weibo.
OPPO is planning to launch two new foldable devices, along with some other interesting devices
First and foremost, let’s talk about the aforementioned foldable devices. OPPO Find N2 is one of them. This phone will follow the Find N launched last year.
OPPO Find N is indeed a really attractive phone, quite compact when folded and a small tablet when unfolded. It launches later in the year, so we don’t expect the Find N2 to launch anytime soon. It will probably arrive in the fourth quarter of the year, possibly in November or December. By the way, the OPPO Find N2 is codenamed ‘White Swan’.
The other foldable is codenamed ‘Dragonfly’ and that appears to be a vertically foldable smartphone. That device will compete head-to-head with the upcoming foldable Galaxy Z Flip 4, Huawei P50 Pocket, and Motorola Razr.
OPPO Find X5 Pro 1st generation Snapdragon 8+ variant may also be coming
Apart from those phones, OPPO seems to be planning to launch a regular flagship powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It could even be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 variant of OPPO Find X5 Pro.
Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 offers improved performance over Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and better power management. On top of that, the thermos bottle is also better. So it makes sense.
However, that is not all. It looks like OPPO is also planning to announce the OPPO Watch 3 smartwatch and the OPPO Band 2 fitness tracker. Yes, that fitness tracker will likely be a smartwatch hybrid. and fitness trackers.
And last, but not least, ColorOS 13. This will become OPPO’s next-generation Android-based operating system, which will appear on the company’s phones. It will likely be included in the flagship of Android 13 smartphones globally. In China, we might even see it shipped on phones running Android 12.
Overall, OPPO has a lot of devices planned for the rest of the year.
