Netography integrates with CrowdStrike Falcon to automate network security across endpoints
By William Toll, Sr. Director, Product Marketing
We’re pleased to announce that we’ve added the ability to isolate CrowdStrike Falcon-protected endpoints.
Netography Fusion easy to do warning and troubleshooting with write-once run continuously everywhere now enables security professionals to prevent endpoints from causing greater damage.
Teams can automate network containment actions when a system appears infected and needs to prevent lateral movement, persistence, intrusion, and other risks.
CrowdStrike’s Falcon Endpoint Response and Detection (EDR) platform API allows built-in security tools to isolate endpoints for a certain amount of time.
Using this API, Netography clients can automatically contain endpoints, with the added ability to manually remove the server from the quarantine list once the threat has been removed. In addition, servers can be deleted after a set period of time or when a specific number of blocked servers has been reached..
Network blocking is available for supported Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems. Once they are contained, they lose the ability to create a network connection with anything other than the CrowdStrike cloud infrastructure and any internal IP addresses that have been specified in the CrowdStrike Response App.
