Update KB5011563 for Windows 11 is now available to users in the stable channel. The patch was released a few weeks ago to Insiders in the Beta and Release Preview Channels.

The Notifications panel in the Alert Center has been slightly changed, it now shows 3 high priority notifications simultaneously. These include alerts for calls, reminders, and alarms. In total, users can now see 4 toast notifications, i.e. 1 normal and 3 high priority notifications. UWP apps that were set up to run at Windows startup will now automatically run on start, once an issue that prevented them from executing has been debugged. Selecting a file in OneDrive can cause the app to lose focus if you rename the file and press the Enter key, if this happens, you’ll need to select the file again.
The update fixes some bugs reported by users. A bug that caused slow computer startup has been narrowed down to occur on systems connected to 5G wireless wide area networks (WWANs). A network UI thread stops responding, thereby increasing Windows boot time. Update KB5011563 resolves this issue. The User Account Control dialog box (UAC prompt) will show the application asking for elevated privileges.
Mitigated a memory leak issue in WMIPICMP.DLL that flagged false alarms in System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) data center monitoring. Windows update KB5011563 fixes stop 0xD1, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in the DirectX kernel component.

One important change that was introduced in Update KB5011563 and not mentioned in the release notes, is that you can now set the default browser with one click from the settings app, instead of tweaking it. edit options for .HTM, File Types and Protocols .HTML, HTTP, HTTPS, .PDF, and .SHTML separately. We discovered this for the first time in a Dev Channel build released in December 2021. Hopefully this QoL feature will be extended to other file types to allow users to set the default video player. definition, image viewer, etc., easier.
