Some might have hoped that Apple would resume full in-person events for this year’s high-profile iPhone launch event, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Apple held a mostly digital WWDC event in June, but there were a limited number of people in person at Apple Park to see the pre-recorded keynote and get hands-on time with the new products.
Gurman said that Apple may be planning to hold two events this fall, similar to a few years ago. The September event will focus on the new iPhone and Apple Watch, while the second event in October will focus on the Mac and iPad.
Apple has a long list of products it plans to launch this fall, so it’s no surprise that we could see two events in the coming months. Besides the new iPhone and Apple Watch, Apple is also planning to announce new iPad Pro, second generation AirPods Pro, etc.
