    Bad news, Apple’s best iPhone 14 model might be the hardest to buy

    The analyst’s new insight claims that reports of a delayed iPhone 14 model that could be in short supply at launch are in fact the iPhone 14 Max, the only one New form factor to this year’s squad.

    9to5Mac reports that Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu named the specific model as mentioned in a report earlier this week:

    Nikkei Asia reported this week that Apple and its suppliers are having difficulty producing the iPhone 14 due to the COVID-19 lockdown in China. Now, Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu has elaborated on this story, saying that the production of the iPhone 14 Max has been delayed by 3 weeks.

    As reported on Wednesday, “at least one” iPhone 14 model is facing production delays that could make supply scarce at launch. Thankfully, the withholding is not expected to delay the iPhone’s upcoming release during the usual September window.

    The report goes on to claim that Apple will produce 91 million iPhone 14 units by the end of the year despite this production delay, far more than the estimated 84 million units Apple has shipped of the best iPhone. its iPhone 13 last year. Pegatron was named as the main manufacturer of the iPhone 14 ‘Max’ in the report.

    As noted, Apple is expected to ditch its ailing ‘mini’ iPhone in favor of a new 6.7-inch phone without Apple’s ‘Pro’ iPhone features, namely a new processor and a punch-hole camera that replaces the notch.
