Apple Self-Service Repairs Now Available
US customers can now buy genuine Apple parts and tools
CUPERTINO, California Apple today announced Self-Service Self-Service, making repair manuals and genuine Apple tools and parts available through the Apple Self-Service Store. Self-service repair is available in the US and will expand to other countries – starting in Europe – later this year.
New online store offering over 200 individual parts and tools, allowing customers with experience repairing complex electronic devices to complete repairs on iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and iPhone models SE (3rd generation), such as the screen, battery, and camera. Every genuine Apple part is designed and engineered for each product, and undergoes extensive testing to ensure the highest quality, safety, and reliability. The parts are the same – for the same price – as those available in Apple’s network of authorized repair suppliers. For certain repairs, the customer will receive a credit for returning the replaced part for recycling.
The Apple tools available to customers on the Self-Service Store are the same as those used by the Apple repair network. They’re custom engineered to help deliver the best repairs for Apple products, and are engineered to withstand the rigors of high volume, professional repair operations where safety and reliability are essential.
